Bloons TD Battles
Bloons TD Battles review
Bloons TD Battles is the part of the Bloons Tower Defense video games series. It was released in December 2012 by Ninja Kiwi. The game is available to play on several platforms, including Android, iOS, Web browser, macOS, and Windows Phone.
Part of the iconic video games series
Bloons TD Battles is considered as a spin-off of a Bloons TD video games series that was officially debuted in the middle of 2007. The main goal of all titles of series is preventing the balloons from reaching the end of a certain track. Each map has several exits and entrances for the balloons. Your task is to set traps so that the balls cannot enter your territory or reach the end of the track. If you manage to do this, then you will receive one in-game dollar for every layer of bloon popped. If no, so you lose the life or health (it depends on the version of the game you play). Once all the lives depleted, the game is finished.
Bloons TD Battles shares similar gameplay but with some nuances. The game has a multiplayer mode where two players can compete with one another. The spin-off has three game modes: assault, defense, and Card Battles. In the first regime, you need to progress through the levels, step by step normally. Each round is a little bit harder than the previous one. Also, a player can buy bloons and send them to the opponent. In defense mode, your screen will be split into two parts. You can spend money and increase income. The Card Battles mode, as for us, is the most interesting regime. Here you need to select the card you want to use during the game: send the bloons to the opponent (like in the first mode) or place down a tower.
The game has five non-PC towers: Heli Pilot, Monkey Sub, Bloonchipper, Monkey Engineer and an exclusive tower called the "COBRA" (Covert Ops Battles Response Agent). This fact made the Bloons TD Battles mobile version exclusive.
Two types of bloons
Bloons are the ballons you defense from in the game. They can be of two types: regular and MOAB-class. The regular bloons are the bloons of green, red, purple, yellow, blue, pink, rainbow, white, black, lead, zebra, and ceramic colors. They look like a common ballons. In contrast, MOAB-class bloons are in the shape of a blimp. They divided into MOAB (Massive Ornary Air Blimp), BFB (Brutal Flying Behemoth), DDT (Dark Dirigible Titan), the ZOMG (Zeppelin Of Mighty Gargantuaness) and the BAD (Big Airship of Doom).
